ABOUT THIS SAFARI PACKAGE
Your safari begins from Maun Airport, where you will board a light aircraft for a flight transfer to the intimate and remote Delta Camp, in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Your guide will welcome you as you arrive, and together, over the course of your stay in the Delta, you will venture out on privately guided walking safaris and mokoro excursions.
After your time at Delta Camp, you would take another light aircraft flight back to Maun Airport, where a driver will be awaiting to take you to Meno A Kwena, an authentic and down-to-earth safari camp in the Makgadikgadi area. Meno A Kwena, Setswana for "Teeth of the Crocodile" is dramatically positioned on a cliff face, so that the rooms, as well as main area, have views of the sprawling Boteti River, flowing below (seasonal). The river attracts herds of animals such as zebra, elephant and wildebeest, allowing for some great wildlife viewing opportunities directly from the camp, particularly during migration season (April - November). Explore the Makgadikgadi National Park on game drives and the glistening Boteti River in the afternoons on motorboat safaris, with a chance to visit the viewing hide at camp in between. To learn more about the human story, alongside the nature around you, partake in a San Bushman walk. During the dry season, head out to the desolate Makgadikgadi Salt Pans and sleep under a night sky with never-ending stars. Return to Maun Airport on your last morning via road transfer.
