Okavango Delta Budget Family Lodge

Delta Camp Okavango Delta Botswana 2025/ 2026

DESCRIPTION:
Delta Camp is located deep in the Okavango Delta on an isolated island just off of Chief's Island and is only accessible by light aircraft from Maun or Kasane Airports. The exclusive area provides travelers the opportunity to discover the the Okavango with true untouched wildlife.

Overlooking the confluence of the Boro and Metsematsweu channels of the Okavango, Delta Camp’s lounge and dining area is well elevated to command the spectacular vista of swamp and riverine forest that lies before it. A variety of game can usually be seen from the deck, with elephant frequent visitors, and cavorting hippo and basking crocodile common sights. Lion, leopard, and Cape Hunting Dogs have all been observed from the deck. Three excellent meals per day ensure that our guests are well prepared for their walks; tea and coffee are always available, and the open bar is always open.

ACTIVITIES:
While visiting you have your own private guide (max two guests per guide), who will take you out twice daily into the Okavango floodplains by mokoro and walking safaris. While traveling on foot with your private professional guide, you will learn about tracking animals, how they behave and live, as well as helping you to becoming aware of the plants and trees that surround you. You have the freedom to explore the Okavango independent of other guests and can plan your days according to whim.

The camp has no age restriction and children of all ages are welcome in camp and on activities. We believe that families sharing an experience of true nature is nothing but a blessing to share and creates memories that can last a lifetime.

Start your Okavango Delta Adventure

You will be met at Maun Airport and introduced to your pilot before taking a fantastic scenic flight into the inner Okavango Delta where you will find Delta Camp. On your arrival you will be welcomed by your guide and shown around the camp. After a short briefing you then set out by mokoro and begin exploring. You then return back to camp by sunset to relax with a warm shower, followed by dinner served at around 7pm.
